Imprinted concrete sealing

Many homes in Cornwall now have imprinted concrete laid for driveways and patios. Because it is a very durable surface, many homeowners prefer it to block paving which is more difficult to maintain.

We are one of the few companies in Cornwall that have the expertise to clean and seal imprinted concrete driveways and patios. Not only can we pressure clean the surface of the concrete we can also re-colour the concrete if the original tint has faded over time. The results can be amazing and totally transform the look and appearance of a driveway or patio.

Sometimes we may have to re-coat the surface with 3 or 4 coats of sealer if the concrete has been down for many years

Imprinted concrete cleaning and sealing stages -

• Remove oil stains with oil remover
• Jet wash the concrete surface and leave to dry out
• Apply colour tint with the sealer if necessary
• Apply additional coats of imprinted concrete sealer
• Make good expansion joints with mastic (if necessary)

The imprinted concrete should be re-sealed every few years to keep it looking good and in optimum condition.
